I found a couple of settings that you might want to turn off to make life easier using Apple Configurator.

One of the great opportunities about attending conferences and webinars is sharing what is hopefully useful information with fellow staff members. It was great to have such a nice turnout at both of tonight’s ChromeBook sessions
The resources from both the Interactive Presentations session and Screencasting sessions can be found at:

Please let me know if you try any of these and if you need any assistance. I would be happy to meet with you.
I just wanted to thank everyone who was able to attend yesterday, I will be posting links to the video content I shared and the web sites mentioned by the end of the week. Remember that you can still sign up for any of the sessions on the district main page.
As always, if there is something you would like to go over that we can tailor to your classroom, email me for an appointment. I would love to assist.
At a recent Middle School meeting, there were some great questions about Twitter. A number of teachers requested a beginner’s guide. I hope this helps. Please email me with any questions.

I posted my January Tech Newsletter. I included some resources that I found at OETC this week. There was a ton of content and I will be sorting through it and posting gradually.
The conference has been amazing. I have a ton of content that I am organizing to try and share in a way that makes sense. Basically, I want to post things in groupings based on if they are useful for the whole staff or just particular age groupings. I am putting together a newsletter for tomorrow night. I hope everyone has been enjoying the snow days!
BTW: I have been doing some selected retweeting from the conference on my school Twitter account. If you want access to those, you can click on the Twitter link at the upper right hand corner of my page.
Also, if you want to create a Twitter account for yourself, you don’t need to post if you don’t feel comfortable. You can just follow the people or organizations that you would like to. I am planning to put together a short video describing how to do this when I return. There were a number of Middle School teachers that were interested.
As always, feel free to contact me if I can help.
I am heading to the conference early tomorrow. I decided to tie my web page updates and January newsletter into the conference so I could share much of it as it was going on. I am going to try and make posts each evening and hopefully some during the day. I’ll focus on useful tips and links that might be of immediate use.
