Thanks for attending tonight’s Prezi session! Videos are posted!

Thanks again for attending tonight’s Prezi session. With the craziness of the snow day yesterday, I received a number of emails from staff who wanted to attend but couldn’t due to schedule changes. Thanks so much for the heads up. I create the video content to try and meet the needs of staff members with conflicts. Please let me know if you weren’t able to attend a particular session and find them beneficial.

I posted the video content from the Prezi session. I broke them into 10 step by step videos that are labeled by topic. I know many of you have been trying out Prezi since the fall sessions. I hope some of these are useful to you as well based on what you have been trying.
As with any of the sessions, feel free to let me know if you want to meet to use any of what is presented in your classroom. Also, if there is a portion of Prezi that you would like to try that is not covered, let me know.
Videos are located in the “Teacher Resources” section of the district main page, under “PD Session Resources”.

Thanks for attending the Nearpod PD session tonight! Resources are posted!

First, I want to thank everyone who attended this evening. I really had a great time presenting. Nearpod is a wonderful tool.

A great question came up about premade Nearpod interactive presentations. You can “clone” them and then “edit” them to make personal changes. I made a short video and put it in the Nearpod videos folder. It’s called “Nearpod follow up on cloning and editing premade”.

I also posted a link to a web site that shows how to take various types of screenshots on different devices and computers.
The content is available if you go to the “teacher resources” section of the main page and then click “PD session resources”. iPad III was the title of this session.
Remember Nearpod works on almost all devices. The link is also below.

Thanks for attending tonight’s Chromebook III session! Resources Posted!

Thanks for attending tonight’s sessions. Some questions came up about what Google Forms looks like on the iPad. I made 2 short videos.

The first is for Google Drive for opening a quiz made in Forms. I only recommend this if your students have their own West G accounts that are signed in to the device.

Otherwise, use the Chrome App. It doesn’t require a student to log in.

All of the sessions videos and links are posted on the West G Main Page.  If you go to “teacher resources” and then click “PD Sessions Resouces”, you will see all of the sessions. I added the videos and also links to the tools that I mentioned.
